I don’t see what the problem with the Equinox is. In fact, there’s one sitting in our driveway, and though I haven’t driven it, I’ve personally found it to be a fairly nice vehicle.
I do, though, think that the facelift they’re giving it for ‘16 is a mistake. The grille just looks so awkward (though I do like the ‘16 model’s headlights and foglamps).

I think it’s a bit dated and really could use a worthy replacement.

Re: Killing the Equinox
Signed,
General Motors.
The Equinox get’s to be the nations second best selling CUV thingy while the CX-5 isn’t anywhere near the top 10. People are dumb.

It is a little dated, but it’s certainly not terrible.
A worthy replacement, though, would be a good idea.
I think this 2016 facelift should give them enough time to do such, especially since the next one is supposed to be based on the next Cruze, so I’ve read.

Meh. I have one as a work vehicle. Interior is nicer than my Forester, it hasn’t broken down yet, and does car things (accelerates, stops, turns) in a totally inoffensive fashion.
